Bettina began her journey in creativity in her native Germany. The daughter of a successful artist, she has followed her own muse resulting in degrees in both photography and costume design. She began her photography studies in commercial and portrait art, working at a photo studio in Hamburg. With her love for the photographic arts, she soon
added location and still photography for theater and film productions.
Having secured a diploma from the School of Art and Design, she soon had work at the Staatsoper Hamburg, for opera and ballet performances in the costume department. Her love for adventure resulted in jobs as costume designer to major television productions, allowing her to travel throughout Europe.
In 1988 she moved to Florida to experience life in a foreign country. For several years she owned an art gallery in Ybor City (Tampa), Florida. She also ran her own fashion design business and did wardrobe styling for catalog fashion shoots. Since 2000, she has concentrated on photography, influenced by the visual arts, dancing arts, the beauty of the human body, spirituality, and nature.
With the revolution of endless digital possibilities, she is now creating art in her own unique style, blending technical knowledge and life experience with her view of love, harmony, and beauty expressed in her “Foto Grafik Fusion Art.”
